I'll be speaking at the Southern Festival of Books FRIDAY OCTOBER 10 at 1:30 p.m., Legislative Plaza Room 21. The topic: "Bringing Down the Devil." I'll be signing books right after and anchoring a table at the Authors in the Round dinner that night. Bring your questions, and I hope to see you on the plaza! 

For 44 years, Mr. Seigenthaler held court interviewing a gamut of writers, from titans to debuts. It was a great honor to be invited onto his show twice. This is his next-to-last interview, and the last time I saw him. Thank you, Mr. Seigenthaler.
